Your First Visit
When you step into our Owasso dental practice for the first time, you will be warmly greeted by our front office concierge. She will check you in for your appointment and assist you with completing or updating forms on an electronic device.
You will start by meeting with our hygienist. She will spend a few minutes getting to know you, will look at your teeth and gums, answer your questions, and begin the examination process. She will screen you for oral cancer and take any needed X-rays and a CT scan of your jaw.
Next, you will meet your neuromuscular dentist in Owasso, who will complete the examination and go over any findings with you. This examination process is thorough, and you should allow an hour to an hour and a half for this appointment. We don’t normally do a dental cleaning at this appointment, but will schedule that as part of your treatment after your dentist has made a complete diagnosis of your needs.
If you are coming to our office because of TMJ problems, because you have a toothache, or want some other specific service, you will begin by meeting directly with a neuromuscular dentist. If you need a professional dental cleaning, we will schedule you for one after we have had the chance to carefully examine your mouth and diagnose any health concerns. We also offer a consultation if you are coming in for a second opinion or want to learn about your options for smile makeovers or dental implants before committing to a paid exam.
Digital Patient Forms
We're happy to offer secure digital patient forms allowing you to complete your paperwork conveniently from wherever you are.
After your appointment is scheduled, we'll send your patient forms by text or email. Simply use your date of birth to securely access and complete them before your visit. Access the link from your phone, tablet or computer.
We kindly ask that you complete your forms before your appointment. This gives our team time to prepare for your arrival, helps make check-in quick and seamless, and allows us to start your appointment on time.
